TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THEATRE AND PERFORMING ARTS, TO ADULTS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE ACCESS A DRAMA SCHOOL TRAINING, BY PROVIDING WORKSHOPS WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH A PLATFORM TO SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS, AND PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROGRESS TO A GRADUATE SCHEME AND TO BECOME PROFESSIONAL ACTORS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005.
