The foundation aims to make grants to provide opportunities for the public to participate in the sports of football and rugby. We do however, anticipate that other sports providers will be eligible. All sports funded will be capable of promoting physical health and fitness.

Charitable objects
THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN BIRMINGHAM, HEREFORD AND WORCESTER THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUBLIC TO PLAY RUGBY, FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE: • CHARITIES ARE ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. • VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY, AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE DISTRIBUTION.
