THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF DOMESTIC PETS AND ANIMALS WHICH ARE AT RISK IN SITUATIONS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND RELATIONSHIP BREAKDOWN BY WORKING WITH STATUTORY AND DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICE PROVIDERS IN MAKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION AND FOSTERING OF SUCH ANIMALS.
