THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG PEOPLE WHO ARE FROM IRISH COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT BRITAIN, IN PARTICULAR, THOSE RESIDING IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND, WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION THROUGH COMBINED CLUSTERING, COLLABORATION, SHARED SKILL AND RESOURCES TO ENABLE CHARITIES TO CONTINUE TO DELIVER THEIR SERVICES TO FURTHER THIS PURPOSE. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN IRISH CULTURE, HISTORY AND HERITAGE THROUGHOUT BRITAIN, IN PARTICULAR, THOSE RESIDING IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND.
