THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY BY MAINTAINING AND ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF THE LIVES OF THOSE FRAIL AND OLDER PEOPLE LIVING IN OVER AND OTHER CAMBRIDGESHIRE VILLAGES, IN ORDER TO COMBAT LONELINESS AND PROVIDE RESPITE TO THEIR CARERS THUS EXTENDING THE TIME THAT THEY CAN CONTINUE TO LIVE HAPPILY AND SAFELY IN THEIR OWN HOME OR COMMUNITY, BY PROVIDING:
O AFFORDABLE DAY CARE THAT IS BOTH ENJOYABLE AND STIMULATING.
O TRANSPORT TO THE DAY CENTRE.
O OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES.
