Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND RELIEF OF NEED TO TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH AND ARE BEING TREATED FOR CANCER BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND FUNDING FOR EQUIPMENT, EVENTS, SPECIAL ACTVITIES AND OTHER BENEVOLENT PURPOSES THAT THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT TO APPROVE FROM TIME TO TIME. THE CHARITY'S SUPPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH AND ARE BEING TREATED FOR CANCER WITHIN THE EAST MIDLANDS REGION. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARITIES ACT 2011.
