THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS OF PETERSFIELD HOSPITAL AND OTHER PERSONS IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA FROM WHICH PATIENTS OF PETERSFIELD HOSPITAL ARE DRAWN (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, INFIRM AND, GENERALLY, TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF PETERSFIELD HOSPITAL IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL CONSIDER APPROPRIATE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SUPPLEMENTING THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY PETERSFIELD HOSPITAL FOR THE HEALTH, WELFARE AND COMFORT OF PATIENTS THEREIN AND OTHER PATIENTS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF, OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF, FACILITIES, BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE TREATMENT OF SUCH PATIENTS, OR FOR THE EFFICIENT RUNNING OF PETERSFIELD HOSPITAL.
