B) TO PROMOTE THE IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PART OR ALL OF THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN. C) TO MAKE DONATIONS TO REGISTERED CHARITIES OPERATING IN DARWEN FOR SPECIFIC OR GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES. D) TO MAKE DONATIONS TO REGISTERED CHARITIES OR TO OTHER APPEALS OR FUNDS WHOS OBJECTS ARE CHARITABLE IN ORDER TO ALLEVIATE SUFFERING DUE TO FAMINE OR NATURAL DISATERS IN THE THIRD WORLD.
