TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PEAK DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK AND OF THE NATION AT LARGE, WHATEVER OF THE ENGLISH HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND NATURAL OR SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE MAY EXIST IN OR NEAR TO THE AFORESAID NATIONAL PARK AN TO UNDERTAKE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AS MAY BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF OR VISITORS TO THE NATIONAL PARK.
