AWARDING TO GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE FORMER BOROUGH OF BATLEY, OR IN CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH THE TRUSTES CONSIDER EXCEPTIONAL, TO GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN RESIDENT OUTSIDE THE SAID AREA, SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS FOR THEIR FURTHER EDUCATION TENABLE TO ANY COLLEGE OR EDUCATION UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF FURTHER (INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL) EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES.
