THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS OF RYDE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING, LEARNING, AND TEACHING OF THE GAME OF LAWN TENNIS AND OTHER RACQUET SPORTS.
