THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY PROVIDING (OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF) EDUCATION, TRAINING, COUNSELLING, HEALTHCARE, AND/OR SUPPORT, DIRECTED TOWARD INDIVIDUALS IN NEED BEING ENABLED TO GENERATE THEIR OWN SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND/OR TO LIVE WITH INCREASED SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND/OR LESS DEPENDENCY.
