Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH CONDUCTING RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH, IN RELATION TO WITHOUT LIMITATION PLANNING, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY, MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF NEW AND EXISTING HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AND THE IMPACT ON HUMAN HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT; AND 2) TO SUPPORT HIGH STANDARDS AND BEST PRACTICE IN PLANNING, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND MANAGEMENT IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT; IN WAYS WHICH ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. IN THESE OBJECTS, THE TERM “WELLBEING” RELATES TO HUMAN HEALTH AND MEANS PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING, AS SUCH TERM IS REFERRED TO IN THE CONSTITUTION OF THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (2006 EDITION).
