Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS (“OBJECTS”) OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN WARRINGTON AND ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE CHRISTIAN FAITH TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, PROVIDING PASTORAL CARE AND CARRYING OUT OUTREACH WORK IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE CHARITY WILL FULFIL THE OBJECTS MAINLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: (A) MAINTAINING A PLACE OR PLACES FOR THE PUBLIC WORSHIP OF GOD BY THE BODY OF BELIEVERS FOR THE TIME BEING KNOWN AS RELENTLESS CHURCH, WARRINGTON ('THE CHURCH'); (B) PREACHING AND PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLES OF FAITH SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS CONSTITUTION AND TO ENGAGE IN EVANGELISM AND MISSIONARY ACTIVITIES; (C) PROVIDING AND SUPPORTING THE INSTRUCTION OF MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH AND OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND DOCTRINES BY ALL MEANS INCLUDING THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE AND OF AUDIO AND VISUAL AIDS AND OTHER MEDIA OF COMMUNICATION; (D) PROVIDING PASTORAL CARE AND SUPPORT TO THOSE ATTENDING THE CHURCH AND GIVING SPIRITUAL AND PRACTICAL HELP AND SUPPORT TO SUCH PERSONS AND TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC; (E) PROVIDING FINANCIAL OR PRACTICAL HELP OR ADVISORY SERVICES TO PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM FINANCIAL NEED OR THE EFFECTS OF SICKNESS OR DISABILITY AND PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH AND THE PUBLIC WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR HEALTH AND/OR QUALITY OF LIFE.
