Charitable objects
(I) TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN ST. OSWALD'S HALL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AS A BUILDING OF ARCHITECTURAL AND HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE. (II) TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE HALL GROUNDS AND SUCH WORKS OF ART AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DISPLAYED IN THE HALL AND ACQUIRED AS ADDITIONS THERETO. (III) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION BY PROMOTING THE USE OF THE HALL FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, AND MORE PARTICULARLY THOSE CONCERNED WITH MEDIEVAL HISTORY.
