Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE OUR SOCIETY AIMS ARE TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S EDUCATION IN HIP HOP AND ALL ITS ARTFORMS, BY PROVIDING A RANGE OF FREE WORKSHOPS, DEMONSTRATIONS, DISCUSSION PANELS AND ONE-TO-ONE MENTORSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS FROM ALL AGE GROUPS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE FROM SOCIALLY OR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING IN DIFFERENT ARTFORMS OF HIP HOP. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
