Our support takes the form of advocacy, help with the completion of paperwork, link-work providing access to legal representation, securing grants through our partners and practical community-based resettlement support.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT ARE: (A) TO PRESERVE THE LIVES OF BENEFICIARIES BY: (I) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ASSISTING THEM TO REACH SAFE COUNTRIES; (II) PROVIDING LIFE-SUSTAINING ASSISTANCE (SUCH AS FOOD, SAFE ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORT AND MEDICAL AID); AND (III) SUCH OTHER RELATED PROJECTS THAT THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE; AND (B) TO RELIEVE THE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND POVERTY FOR BENEFICIARIES BY: (I) PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES; (II) SUPPLYING MEDICAL AID; (III) COLLABORATING WITH CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY; AND (IV) SUCH OTHER RELATED PROJECTS THAT THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘BENEFICIARIES’ MEANS REFUGEES, EVACUEES WHO ARE INTERNALLY DISPLACED AND/OR PERSONS FACING PERSECUTION AS A RESULT OF CONFLICT IN AFGHANISTAN.
