3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:
3.1.1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF ELDERLY PERSONS IN BIRMINGHAM BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF SOCIAL HOUSING IN THE FORM OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION; AND
3.1.2 SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DECIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE ALMSHOUSES.
