FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO OPERATE, MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE UNDERCLIFFE CEMETERY FOR ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (1) AN OPEN SPACE (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE LOCAL, AND NATIONAL, SOCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE 19TH CENTURY AND THE NATURAL HISTORY, INCLUDING ORNITHOLOGY AND BOTANY, OF THE CEMETERY AND ITS ENVIRONS (3) THE BURIAL OF THE DEAD (4) THE PRESERVATION,PROTECTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR EDUCATIONAL INTEREST, INCLUDING THE FLORA AND FAUNA OF THE CEMETERY, AND IN PARTICULAR THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EXISTING MONUMENTS, TOMBS AND GRAVES THEREIN WHICH ARE OF EDUCATIONAL INTEREST.
