Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND THE SAVING OF LIVES IN SUCH PARTS OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY SERVICE AND RECOVERY VEHICLES, TRAINING, EQUIPMENT AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO HELP MORE EFFECTIVELY REDUCE LOSS OF LIFE AND INJURY.
2. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED AND SUFFERING AMONG VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER IN THE FORM OF MONEY (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE) FOR PERSONS, BODIES, ORGANISATIONS AND/OR COUNTRIES AFFECTED.
