FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1) FOSTERING AN ESPRIT DE CORPS AND INCREASING THE MORALE OF SERVING, RESERVE AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES; 2) ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THE PARTICIPATION IN ALL TYPES OF CYCLING; 3) PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE BENEFITS OF CYCLING BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY.
