Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUNNI ISLAM, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) PROVIDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPLEMENTARY SCHOOLS FOR CHILDREN AGED 5 – 16 YEARS, INCLUDING CLASSES IN: QUR’AN RECITATION, ISLAMIC STUDIES, ARABIC LANGUAGE AND MEMORISATION; (B) CONTRIBUTING TO THE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS ISLAMIC SCOUT GROUP OR SUMMER SCHOOL, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY; AND (C) PROVIDING RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN POVERTY OR OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE NEED AS A PRACTICAL EXPRESSION OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH.
