We help collect and send humanitarian aid from Manchester to people affected by the war in Ukraine. We also run a community hub in Prestwich, Manchester, where we support Ukrainians living in Greater Manchester. Our charity helps people learn more about Ukraine, its language, culture and heritage.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: ? TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE, HISTORY AND CULTURE IN GREATER MANCHESTER; ? TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG UKRANIAN REFUGEES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS LIVING IN GREATER MANCHESTER BY PROVIDING INTERPRETING, TRANSLATING, ADVOCACY, ADVICE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING; ? TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS LIVING IN GREATER MANCHESTER; ? TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN GREATER MANCHESTER WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES; AND ? THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN UKRAINE WHO ARE AFFECTED BY THE WAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY AID AND SUCH OTHER ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE; NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
