Charitable objects
THE CHARITY?S OBJECTS ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: -TO PROTECT IMPROVE AND CONSERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF DUNWICH AND OF THE NATION, THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE THAT MAY EXIST IN AND AROUND DUNWICH IN BUILDINGS (INCLUDING ANY STRUCTURE OR ERECTION, AND ANY PART OF A BUILDING SO DEFINED) OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST INCLUDING THE SITE OF THE SCHEDULED ANCIENT MONUMENT OF THE DUNWICH GREYFRIARS FRIARY AND THE WOODLAND OF GREYFRIARS WOOD IN THE PARISH OF DUNWICH (TOGETHER REFERRED TO AS 'DUNWICH GREYFRIARS') -TO PROMOTE THE BUILDINGS AND LAND COMPRISED IN THE DUNWICH GREYFRIARS SITE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF DUNWICH AND THE PUBLIC BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (A)THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC RECREATIONAL AMENITIES; (B)THE CONSERVATION OF BUILDINGS OR SITES OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE; AND (C)THE PROTECTION OR CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. -TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND LEARNING IN RESPECT OF ARCHAEOLOGY, HISTORY, CONSERVATION, BIO-DIVERSITY AND GEOGRAPHY IN RELATION TO DUNWICH GREYFRIARS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF DUNWICH AND THE PUBLIC.
