THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY (OBJECT), FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT WITHIN SURREY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA, IS: THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS. (FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE 'FACILITIES' MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT, ACCESS TO COACHING AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES).
