THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES THROUGHOUT ENGLAND AND WALES IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE PURCHASE OF EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.
