THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION AND SPORTS, PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOOTBALL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF COVENTRY BY ASSISTING WITH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE INHABITANTS IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE.
