Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (I) PROMOTE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, BREEDING, MANAGEMENT AND PRESERVATION OF ALL SPECIES OF VULTURE AND OTHER ENDANGERED BIRDS OF PREY;, TOGETHER WITH THEIR VARYING HABITATS WORLDWIDE THROUGH BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY CAPTIVE BREEDING PROGRAMS AND RESEARCH INTO THE BREEDING, HABITAT, HEALTH AND CONSERVATION OF VULTURES AND OTHER ENDANGERED SPECIES OF BIRDS OF PREY INCLUDING THE EVOLUTION OF NEW METHODS OF CONSERVATION, BREEDING AND MANAGEMENT THROUGH RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT WORK AND THE MAINTENANCE OF VIABLE POPULATIONS OF THE CIO’S VULTURE COLLECTION; AND (II) ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY IN THE CONSERVATION, PRESERVATION AND WELFARE OF VULTURES THROUGH BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY CONDUCTING EXHIBITIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS TOGETHER WITH THE PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE, FILMS AND MATERIALS; AND THE PROVISION OF ONSITE AND REMOTE TRAINING IN CONSERVATION, BREEDING AND MANAGEMENT OF VULTURES.
