TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROMOTING THE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE BY ESTABLISHING THE STAFFORDSHIRE HISTORY CENTRE TO DISPLAY ARTEFACTS AND ITEMS OF MERIT, AND BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES AND BY PROVIDING SUPPORT IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, FOR THE CARE, INTERPRETATION AND ACCESS TO THE COLLECTIONS HELD BY THE STAFFORDSHIRE AND STOKE ON TRENT ARCHIVE SERVICE AND THE COUNTY MUSEUM, AND THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES ORGANISED BY OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH STAFFORDSHIRE AND STOKE ON TRENT ARCHIVE SERVICE AND THE COUNTY MUSEUM.
