Activities - how the charity spends its money
Arnside Sailing Club offers water sports including sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding from its main base on Morecambe Bay and Killington Lake. The Club has craft and equipment available for use and being an RYA Recognised Training Centre, can offer training courses to its members and the general public. The Club actively seeks to encourage young people to get involved in its water activities.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CLUB ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR WATER SPORTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SAILING, PADDLE BOARDING, KAYAKING, AND CANOEING, AND ORGANISING A PROGRAMME OF WATER SPORTS ACTIVITIES. (2) THE PROMOTION OF THE MARITIME HERITAGE OF ARNSIDE VILLAGE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PRESERVATION, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND CRAFT IN ARNSIDE. (3) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
