Charitable objects
OUR AIMS ? TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY YOUTH PROVISION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN ASHBY WOULDS AND SURROUNDING AREAS. ? TO BECOME A CENTRAL HUB FOR THE PROVISION OF ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE MOST IN NEED ? TO WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE FROM DISENGAGED AND DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES TO ACCESS PROVISION AND ACTIVITIES ON A REGULAR BASIS ? USE INTERVENTION AND PREVENTATIVE MEASURES TO HELP PROVIDE BETTER OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ? TO DEVELOP OUR SITE TO BECOME A HUB FOR SERVICE FOR THE WIDER COMMUNITY OUR CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES 1) TO ASSIST YOUNG PERSONS TO DEVELOP TOWARDS THEIR FULL POTENTIAL PARTICULARLY IN THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES SO THAT THEY MAY CONTINUE TO GROW IN MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE MAY THUS BE IMPROVED AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT OBJECTIVE TO PROVIDE IN ASHBY WOULDS A CENTRE FOR SPORTING AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, MEETINGS, LECTURES, AND CLASSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PERSONS. 2) TO HELP ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE TO DEVELOP PHYSICAL AND ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS, AS WELL AS BUILD AN AWARENESS OF FAIR PLAY, SELF-RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS INVOLVED (TEAMMATES AND OFFICIALS) AND IN SO DOING RAISING THEIR ASPIRATION LEVELS. 3) TO PROVIDE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS WHERE AND WHEN NECESSARY, WITH TRAINING AND A SUPPORT PROGRAMME. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TO BE SUPPORTIVE AND ENCOURAGING, WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND BE NON-JUDGEMENTAL. ALL STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TO BE DBS (DISCLOSURE & BARRING SERVICE) CHECKED AND APPROVED. 4) THE APPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT OF AVAILABLE SPACE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL IN FURTHERANCE OF AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.
