TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE AIDS HIV EPIDEMIC, TO GIVE COMFORT TO THOSE WHO GRIEVE THEIR LOSS AND HIGHLIGHT THE IMPACT OF HIV/AIDS ON THE LIVES OF THE COMMUNITIES MOST AFFECTED.
