THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND BY REMOVING HARMFUL LOST AND DISCARDED FISHING LINE AND EQUIPMENT.
