Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO (A) PROMOTE EDUCATION, AND TRAINING IN THE PERFORMING ARTS; AND (B) PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE PERFORMING ARTS; FOR DISADVANTAGED 18-21 YEAR OLD PEOPLE, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CIO TRUSTEES THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION TO SUCH PERSONS IN ORDER TO FURTHER THESE OBJECTS AND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
