Charitable objects
To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, including the marine, freshwater and woodland environments, and heritage assets, by:
a. Undertaking research into these environments, including associated land, shoreline, structures, and heritage sites; and
b. Supporting conservation and enhancement projects in such ways that are charitable.
To advance the education of the public in the protection, conservation and enhancement of the marine, freshwater and woodland environments, and heritage assets, by:
a. Providing advice, producing educational resources, and delivering learning sessions to raise awareness and understanding; and
b. Producing and promoting research into all aspects of the above subjects, and publishing the useful results for the public benefit.
