Charitable objects
1.FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN ENGLAND WHO ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT OR OTHER ASSISTANCE TO RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS AND BY RAISING AWARENESS AND PROMOTING THE WORK OF ANIMAL CHARITIES. 2.THE ADVANCEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OR IMPROVEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT WITHIN ENGLAND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY (A) THE PROMOTION OF WASTE REDUCTION, RE-USE AND RECYCLING AND (B) THE PLANTING OF TREES TO OFFSET CARBON EMISSIONS AND (C) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE ABOUT PUBLIC TRANSPORT USE, CYCLING AND WALKING. 3.THE ADVANCEMENT OF YOUTH AND AMATEUR SPORT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MAKING GRANTS OR PROVIDING FUNDING, EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF FOOTBALL, RUGBY OR EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES WITHIN ENGLAND. 4.FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING (INCLUDING IN STEM, CONSTRUCTION, CIVIL ENGINEERING AND RELATED SUBJECTS) OF PEOPLE IN NORTH WEST ENGLAND IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY (A) AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION AND (B) PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORK PLACEMENTS, EDUCATIONAL VISITS AND ACCESS TO CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS. 5.THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT OF SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEAVERS, THE LONG TERM UNEMPLOYED, ARMED SERVICES LEAVERS, NEETS, BAME AND EX OFFENDERS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT. 6.THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN ENGLAND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING: GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. 7.FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE RESIDENT IN ENGLAND WHO ARE IN NEED, BY PROVIDING SPECIALLY DESIGNED OR ADAPTED HOUSING, AND ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS. 8.THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT WITHIN ENGLAND BY (A) THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY , SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGION; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; AND (C) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS. 9.THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH, BOTH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE RESIDING IN ENGLAND BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DONATIONS AND FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES, TO EXISTING ORGANISATIONS WHICH CARRY OUT RESEARCH, PROMOTE AWARENESS AND PROVIDE SERVICES, TREATMENTS AND ASSISTANCE TO THOSE AFFECTED.
