THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG PEOPLE ON THE MOVE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE, BY PROVIDING, OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF: 1. EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN VOCATIONAL SKILLS; 2. PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING PEOPLE ON THE MOVE, INCLUDING GENERALLY AND IN RELATION TO THEIR SOCIAL EXCLUSION, AND IN RELATION TO THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS); 3. WORKSHOPS, FORUMS, ADVOCACY AND GENERAL SUPPORT 4. SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS INVOLVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. 5. ITEMS, GOODS, AND SERVICES TO MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS. 6. TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATING IN HUMANITARIAN WORK FOR THE ABOVE COMMUNITIES. “PEOPLE ON THE MOVE” REFERS TO THE INCLUSIVE DEFINITION FROM THE UNESCO HANDBOOK 2008 THAT INCLUDES: INTERNATIONAL MIGRANTS; REFUGEES; STATELESS PERSONS; ASYLUM SEEKERS; NON-NATIONAL PERSONS AND INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS.
