THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE RELIEF OF MENTAL SUFFERING AND PHYSICAL HARDSHIP OF REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS, DISPLACED PERSONS AND OTHER MIGRANTS ("MIGRANT PERSONS") FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY THOSE WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF WARS, NATURAL DISASTERS, ECONOMIC HARDSHIP, PEOPLE TRAFFICKING AND OTHER CATASTROPHES, INCLUDING BY THE PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL GOODS AND FACILITIES AND WELFARE AND COUNSELING SERVICES.
