THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE AREA COMPRISING THE VILLAGE OF DUNCHURCH IN THE COUNTY OF WARWICKSHIRE AND ITS VICINITY, WHICH AREA SHALL HEREINAFTER BE REFERRED TO AS "THE AREA OF BENEFIT": (1) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, NATURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (2) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FEATURES OF HISTORIC AND OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (3) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (4) TO ADVANCE SUCH PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE IN LAW FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
