THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL SICKNESS OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN DOVER, KENT AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM BY THE PROVISION OF THERAPEUTIC SERVICES AND SUCH OTHER FINANCIAL OR PRACTICAL SUPPORT AS REQUIRED AND DECIDED BY THE CHARITY TRUSTEES; AND 2) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY PROVIDING PASTORAL SUPPORT TO VULNERABLE GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES SO THAT THE LOVE OF CHRIST IS SHARED BY WORD AND PRACTICAL MEANS.
