FROSTERLEY VILLAGE HALL AND INSTITUTE REMAINS A HUB TODAY FOR THE VILLAGE. IT FULFILLS THE ROLE SET OUT BY ITS FOUNDERS THE WORKING PEOPLE OF THE VILLAGE, QUARRYMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHO OVER A CENTURY AGO RAISED THE MONEY AND BUILT THE HALL TO SERVE ALL IN THE COMMUNITY. IT DOES THIS BY PROVIDING: A REGULAR PROGRAMME OF FUND-RAISING EVENTS, A PUBLIC MEETING PLACE, ROOMS AND FACILITIES FOR HIRE.
