Charitable objects
4.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS), FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN RELATION TO SYRIA, INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) RAISING THE PUBLIC’S AWARENESS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES; AND (B) CONDUCTING INTERNATIONAL ADVOCACY OF HUMAN RIGHTS. 4.2 THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFECTIVE USE OF RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN RELATION TO THOSE AFFECTED BY WAR AND CONFLICT IN SYRIA (WHO ARE INSIDE THE COUNTRY OR WHO HAVE BEEN DISPLACED), IN PARTICULAR BY RUNNING A NETWORK WHICH WILL: (A) CO-ORDINATE WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE THE COMMON GOAL OF PROVIDING CHARITABLE SERVICES OR RELIEF; (B) ACT AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY GAPS IN THE RANGE OF CHARITABLE SERVICES AVAILABLE; (C) REPRESENT A RANGE OF VIEWS TO POLICY MAKERS AND FUNDERS; AND (D) PROVIDE ADVICE AND INFORMATION TO CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS.
