THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF PARROTS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION IN ENGLAND AND WALES AND TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS THEM, IN PARTICULAR BY: A) PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THEIR RECEPTION, CARE, TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION AND, WHERE APPROPRIATE, MAKING ARRANGEMENTS TO REHOME THEM; B) OFFERING ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP AND ISSUES CONCERNING THE BEHAVIOUR, HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF PARROTS.
