THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PREGNANT WOMEN, MOTHERS AND BABIES, IN THE SOUTHEAST OF ENGLAND, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FROM ETHNIC MINORITIES, BY THE PROVISION OF LECTURES, FORA AND THE PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION ON THE PROMOTION OF PRE AND POST-NATAL HEALTH.
