THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH IN CRAWLEY WEST SUSSEX AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE QUR’AN AND THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF GOD BE UPON HIM), THE SAHABAH-E-KIRAM (MAY GOD BE PLEASED WITH THEM), COMPANIONS OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF GOD BE UPON HIM) AS INTERPRETED AND ACCEPTED BY THE AHLE SUNNAH WAL JAMAA-AH AND AS EXPOUNDED BY THE SALAFUS SAALIHEEN (PIOUS PREDECESSORS) AND THE HANAFI SCHOLARS BEING SHAYKH ASHRAF ALI THANWI (1863-1943), MUFTI MUHAMMAD SHAFEE UTHMANI (1897-1976), SHAYKH RASHEED AHMAD GANGOHI (1829-1905) AND QARI MUHAMMAD TAYYIB (1898-1983), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP, ISLAMIC EDUCATION, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND BY DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE ISLAMIC FAITH.
