Charitable objects
1. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG PEOPLE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE WHO RESIDE IN THE COUNTY OF ESSEX (AND SUCH OTHER COUNTIES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE) AND WHO ARE SUFFERING TERMINAL OR LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES, AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF THEIR ILL HEALTH, BY THE PROVISION OF: A) SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS; B) ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO ACCESS EDUCATIONAL COURSES AND SERVICES. 2. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF TERMINAL OR LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF COMPLIMENTARY THERAPIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, REFLEXOLOGY AND MASSAGE.
