DGLG activities include: A, Seeking and securing authorised stopping places and planning permissions, improving the educational outcomes for children and improving access for culturally appropriate accommodation. We work with health agencies to improve health out comes. We also work on national policy B. The promotion of Romany Gypsy cultural heritage including exhibitions and events.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘THE OBJECTS’) ARE 1) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF THE GYPSY COMMUNITY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN DERBYSHIRE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND LIAISON SERVICES AND BY RAISING AWARENESS WITH THE PUBLIC AND STATUTORY SERVICE PROVIDERS. 2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF THE GYPSY COMMUNITY BY THE PROVISION OF EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.
