1. TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ANTENATAL, POSTNATAL AND PERINATAL SERVICES, ACTIVITIES, CLASSES AND GROUPS. 2. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN NORTH KIRKLEES IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE. 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN NORTH KIRKLEES THROUGH CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES. 4. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN NORTH KIRKLEES.
