Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH VIA: PROVIDING MONETARY GRANTS TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE JEWISH FAITH OR COMMUNITIES OF THE JEWISH FAITH THAT ARE INFIRM, SICK OR IN POVERTY. PROVIDING ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH WEEKLY LECTURES AND LESSONS. ENABLING THOSE WITH AN INTEREST IN THE JEWISH FAITH TO ACCESS EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS REGARDING THE JEWISH RELIGION, PRACTICES AND CUSTOMS. PROVIDING MONETARY GRANTS TO JEWISH BRIDES WHO ARE IN POVERTY TO ENABLE THEM TO PREPARE AND PAY FOR MARRIAGE. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
