TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HUMBER REGION, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS AND OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP PEOPLE IN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE TO ACCESS ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING; AND BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP SKILLS THAT SUPPORT EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT.
